About marion storrie
I was born in Lanark in the county of Lanarkshire on the 13th August 1950. My parent's are WILLIAM KING STORRIE 7/10/1919 and ANNIE JOHNSTONE M'ARTHUR 5/12/1914, THEY LIVED AT THAT TIME in SHOTTS at 175, BELMONT DRIVE, SPRINGHILL. Also living at the house were ANNIE's brother's and one sister, they were GRACE POLLOCK M'ARTHUR 1/1/1916, ADAM M'CARTHUR 23/8/1919, JAMES JOHNSTON M'ARTHUR 16/6/1911,GEORGE M'CARTHUR ?/5/1923,or 5 not sure, and last but not least THOMAS POLLOCK M'ARTHUR ?/5/1921?.
They then moved to
66, SPRINGHILL BUILDINGS
SPRINGHILL in the year of 1951.In 1957 they moved to
3, SICLAIRSTON DRIVE, DRONGAN in AYRSHIRE, where they stayed until 15/3/1966 when they moved to
47,SOUTH DRIVE, NEWHALL, SWADLINCOTE, DERBYSHIRE,ENGLAND.
I have married three times, had three children, and now have seven grandchilren, who are my life, they are all fantastic, beautiful kind and considerit, the eldest phones once or twice per week and travels every few weeks to see us. three of them come and stay every week-end, just to look after their old Gran.
My husband works 12 hour shifts and does as much as he can, well as much as i let him.
I had tubercular arthritis as a child,and i just had a new hip last year, just wish i could have new hands now, that would be brilliant. Other wise life is wonderful.
